I loved the diversity and independence of the job. Everyday coming into work, there was always a different kind of project or assignment we had to do. Furthermore, we had a lot of leverage on what tasks we wanted to get done each day.
What I wish was different
I wish that I was more confident in my own abilities initially going into this job. In hindsight, I was working hard and I'm proud of the work I accomplished while I was at this project and I can't wait to hopefully return next summer!
Advice
I think that it's vital to branch out your social network, both professionally and personally, because that's how I was able to acquire this job in the first place. It's crucial to meet and interact with people who align with your career path so that it makes it much easier to get your foot in the door!

What I liked
I enjoyed living in the Denver area. There was always something to do there.
What I wish was different
The job was monotonous. I also had to find housing in Denver on a short notice, which was tricky. Living in Denver is incredibly expensive, and I wasn't able to save as much money as I wanted.
Advice
Expect to get a second job to cover the cost of living in Denver.

What I liked
Learned new things and was able to apply things I learned in the classroom. Had responsibility over a project, and was able to make a difference. I enjoyed getting to know and working with my co-workers.

Don't think it's the end of the world if you make a mistake. The outcome is positive when you are honest about it, and you make an effort and plan to make it better.
