Overview:

The Department of Finance is offering a paid internship opportunity in the Economic Research Unit. Participating interns work under close supervision and gain on-the-job training in the field of economic research and forecasting. Interns will independently gather, evaluate, and analyze data and information on an assigned project. Interns will interact with professional staff and attend staff meetings and other unit activities.

Requirements:

  • Must be fully enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Majoring in economics or a comparable field. Knowledge of economic principles and procedures highly preffered
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Essential personal qualifications include integrity, initiative, dependability, and good judgment. Ability to work as part of a team and maintain cooperative relationships.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
