Job Description
As the HR Shared Services Specialist (Senior Payroll Tax and Accounting Analyst), you will work in Payroll Operations supporting Payroll Tax Filings, Payroll Accounting and People Operations for the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Reporting directly to the You will work with all aspects of People Operations on Payroll, Compensation, Benefits Administration, and other related technical and employee relations issues.
Key Responsibilities
Use Workday, and ADP to ensure accurate taxation and filing of periodic, monthly, quarterly, and Annual payroll tax filings.
Process W-2C’s, amended returns and conducting root cause analysis for corrections.
Maintain ADP Company Profile and ensure Power of Attorney and TPA are filed for each applicable Tax Authority.
Maintain Payroll Accounting Software, update mapping and formatting; perform Account Reconciliations for Payroll Accounts.
Be the partner to improve processes, be a resource for internal and external customers, and produce Payroll Reports and Data for use by Departments, HR and external vendors.
Collaborate with PPSC and CoE to resolve employee cases within the Service level agreement timeframe using ServiceNow
Qualifications
BS/BA Degree in Business, Tax or Accounting
2+ years of experience, and 2+ years of experience.
Experience working in a multi-state and multiple legal entity environment with knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and reporting laws.
Experience using multiple accounting systems and using ADP for tax remittance and filing; additional experience with Workday Payroll and ServiceNow.
