Auditor - The Post-Secondary Student Intern Program

The Air Force Audit Agency (AFAA) is participating in The Post-Secondary Student Intern Program. The program is designed to attract individuals currently enrolled full time in college who are seeking a dynamic career with the Air Force Civilian Service. Student interns may work full-time or part-time schedules and must complete a minimum of 480 internship hours.

Upon completion of their internship hours and meeting the baccalaureate or graduate degree requirements, interns may be offered a full-time position working with the Air Force Civilian Service without the need for further competition.

 Requirements:

  • Enrolled full time in college
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in a business-related field with 24 semester hours of accounting, of which 6 hours can be in business law
  • Completed at least one year of the program
  • Maintain good academic standing (no less than 2.95 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 grading scale)
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
  • Relocation/housing expenses will not be paid
