Sales Development Representative

HealthView is the leading provider of retirement healthcare cost data and retirement planning tools for the financial services industry, including banks, insurance companies, and broker-dealers.

 

We are seeking a great communicator, collaborative team player, and organized professional to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will preferably have prior sales experience (which is not required) and be open to learning and growing in this role. This candidate has the unique opportunity to develop a knowledge of financial services, which may lead to potential growth at HealthView: we encourage a candidate who loves learning to develop in this role.

 

Core Responsibilities:

As a sales development representative, you will leverage your communication and interpersonal skills to generate new institutional appointments through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages. You will work alongside account managers and marketing to achieve practical results. One of the benefits of this role is building relationships across the financial services industry. You will have the opportunity to gain rapport with top professionals in the industry. We encourage you to learn and acquire new skills by collaborating on creative client presentations. Managing and updating your Salesforce CRM is essential for maintaining a healthy sales pipeline over time and accurately forecasting opportunities.

 

Ideal Candidate Experience and Skills:

Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook will help you adapt quickly to the new environment. Your ability to take initiative and produce results while working independently and collaboratively will help you be a successful Business Development Representative. Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are of the highest importance for this position.

The compensation package consists of a base hourly rate and commission.
