STRTP Supervisor/Administrator 

One (1) Full-Time Salaried/Exempt $74,256.00 - $85,176.00 Annually (DOE)

 

Pay differentials offered - must qualify through testing or verification for the following special competencies.

*Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish ($1.00 per hour)

*Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language - Interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to English, and English to ASL. ($2.00 per hour)

 

The Short-Term Residential Treatment Program (STRTP) Supervisor/Administrator role will coordinate and monitor the overall treatment of clients in the STRTP. As such, the position is responsible for monitoring and/or providing quality services in the following areas: childcare, individual and group therapy, health, recreation, and night supervision, from intake through discharge. The STRTP Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that residential youth are treated fairly and respectfully while residing in a safe, home-like environment where therapeutic treatment is provided. Under the supervision of the Program Manager and in collaboration with the Head of Service/Social Worker, provides day-to-day management and care of residents in a state licensed Short Term Residential Treatment Program. Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and supervising Treatment Skills Coaches who provide daily care for residents. Also maintains program and facility regulatory compliance. Works in close partnership with the clinical care team to ensure all aspects of residents’ mental health treatment plans are implemented and followed. Manages daily house operations and when necessary, maintains positive neighborhood relationships. The STRTP Administrator is required to be on the premises for a minimum of 20 hours per week to supervise and support the overall functions of the facility operating in an ethical and professional manner and is in compliance with RCS policy and procedure and Title 22, Community Care Licensing, and all applicable federal, and local regulations. Provides direct supervision and care for children in a residential setting, and supervision of the childcare staff, by performing the following duties.

 

Education and/or Experience: 

Must have bachelor’s degree + 4 years or BBS licensed or waivered, Master’s degree +2 years working with at-risk youth in a residential or mental health setting. Must have skills necessary to engage and work with others from diverse backgrounds, maintain a non-judgmental attitude toward clients, maintain required licenses and certifications to perform the role. Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience in High-Risk Setting's and Community Care Licensed Facilities Preferred, not required. Bilingual preferred, not required.
