Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy services to patients. The day-to-day tasks may include conducting therapy sessions, monitoring progress, documenting patient outcomes, providing patient education, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and communicating with patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills
- Knowledge of Medicine and Pediatrics (minimum one year)
- Enjoy treating one-on-one with each patient for the entire treatment session
- Build client relationship with a case load of 8 - 10 patients per day
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Current Texas license/certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Degree in Occupation Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Available for the hours of: Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm
- This is not a remote/teletherapy position, all therapy offered onsite.
