SUMMARY

  • Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to advance student achievement.
  • Understand and appreciate diversity.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Arizona Special Education Certificate - Hearing Impaired
  • Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
  • Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
  • ASL


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

 

COMMENTS:

Pay Range $50,400 to $57,900/year

Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Site - Intersections - 3 positions

FTE: Varies. Typical Teacher FTE 1.0, 7.5 hours per day.
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

 

 

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

 

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.

 

New Teachers to the District may be eligible for a one-time recruitment stipend (up to $5,000) if hired into one of the following positions: Ex Ed, Math, Science.

 

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
