This position assesses the patient needs and administers direct music therapy treatments in order to provide habilitative and rehabilitative services using knowledge of principles and practice of music therapy. The Music Therapist uses therapeutic programs based on the identified patient needs, capabilities, and interests. As part of the treatment team, participates in the formulation of interdisciplinary treatment plans for the patients.
