Accounting Part Time Student

Medical Associates is seeking a motivated Accounting student who is ready to apply educational knowledge and business practices in a real-world environment. The student will have the opportunity to grow their skills with hands-on experience in month-end preparation of financial statements, budgets, and finance-driven projects while working closely with our finance team. This position offers flexible hours, hourly pay, and real-life experience! This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in the accounting industry. 

Accounting Responsibilities and Duties

• Job shadow and training with the finance team
• Assist with basic journal entries to close month-end financials
• Help track data needed for month-end reporting
• Assist in the annual budget preparation
• Help perform additional projects upon request

 Requirements 

• Accounting major, working towards completion of BA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Flexible hours with the capacity to work 20-40 hours per week
