Job description

Locations: St. Paul JCC & Minneapolis JCC (must be able to commute to each site 2x per week)

Compensation: $18/hr base + a generous bonus structure!

Hours: 32 hr/week (full time) with a potential to cover another shift as needed

  • St. Paul - CAPP location: Thursday (10:30 am - 6:30 pm) / Friday (9 am - 5 pm)
  • Minneapolis - Sabes location: Sunday (9 am - 5 pm) / Monday (10:30 am- 6:30 pm)
  • Tu/W/Sat off
  • Q1 - will work an additional Saturday shift in the first quarter of each year

We're seeking a Membership Sales Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibilities of a Membership Sales Specialist are to:

  • Generate leads and new membership sales
  • Create awareness of the Center through community outreach and connectivity
  • Grow profit centers through promotion of club services to new and prospective members
  • Deliver an exceptional customer service experience for club members
  • Sustain and support membership retention through member engagement
  • Provide needs analysis and personalized / customized site tours for potential members
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience, preferably in membership or fitness sales, with demonstration of meeting and exceeding goals.
  • Willing and motivated individual interested in developing a foundation in sales as a new career opportunity
  • Dynamic personality: Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly & personable
  • Ability to multi-task; Goal-oriented and self-directed
  • Ability to connect with, inspire and motivate others with strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism: polished appearance and phone manner
  • Flexibility: able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
