A central project will be supporting the Curatorial team to develop a modern jewelry exhibition.

The Curatorial Intern will:

  • Be introduced to a variety of curatorial techniques and philosophies.
  • Become familiar with The Wolfsonian’s diverse array of art and design items.
  • Hone storytelling and research skills.
  • Learn about the exhibition development process by participating in project, department, and cross-departmental green-lighting meetings.
  • Have access to Wolfsonian student enrichment activities such as career roundtables, a resume/cover letter writing workshop, and beyond.

This internship is held in person at 1001 Washington Ave, Miami Beach 33139.

The largest of FIU’s three museums, The Wolfsonian is an art and design research center in South Beach with a collection of more than 200,000 items from the modern age (1850–1950).
