  • Become familiar with how museum staff craft language for exhibitions, programs, digital experiences, and printed materials.
  • Discover how to identify entry points of interest into the museum’s collection, exhibitions, and institutional history.
  • Receive intensive training in copywriting and editing.
  • Become familiar with tools and processes that are key to strategic content development, including research-gathering, surveying, project management, storyboarding, outlining/wireframing, and audience testing.
  • Have access to Wolfsonian student enrichment activities such as career roundtables, a resume/cover letter writing workshop, and beyond.

This internship is held in person at 1001 Washington Ave, Miami Beach 33139.

The largest of FIU’s three museums, The Wolfsonian is an art and design research center in South Beach with a collection of more than 200,000 items from the modern age (1850–1950).
