Tax Manager

Bryan Brothers is seeking a Tax Manager to help us serve and advise families with multi-generational wealth through client-centric accounting and tax services in a relaxed family office setting.

Job description

  • Job duties will include:
    • Prepare complex individual, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
    • Work on multiple engagements that provide proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including federal, estate, gift and charitable planning.  Opportunities to be a member of the client’s team along with other professional advisors – investment, legal, insurance, etc. Assist with implementation of the plan as directed by the client and their team.
    • Grow technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and technical authorities.
    • Utilize your skills to build strong relationships with clients.
    • Firm management opportunities to participate in administration of the office and lead in strategic decision-making including software selection and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. Masters in tax preferred.
  • CPA required.
  • Proven work experience as tax senior or tax manager. 4+ years work experience in tax compliance preferred.
  • Provide exceptional client service skills and can develop great working relationships with clients.
  • Effective use of tax software – compliance and research.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks Accountant and QuickBooks Online.
