Nursing Assistant

Camp Taconic is looking for Nursing Assistants for Summer 2024. This is a great opportunity for students studying nursing, to gain real world experience as part of a professional health care team. At Taconic, our Health Center staff oversees the health and safety of over 550 campers and 300 staff members. Nursing Assistants work on-site with a team of registered nurses, pediatricians, and our health center administrator. 

We provide room and board, a competitive salary, travel reimbursement, and internship credit. In fact, last summer we provided over 40 internships to college students across the country.

Responsibilities:

• Dispensing medication
• Triage, first-aid
• Keeping accurate medical records Communicating with staff & administration

Qualifications:

• Available to live at Camp (mid-June to mid-August)
• Desire to gain hands on experience in a professional health care setting
