Trust Services

We work with clients and their advisors to administer all types of trusts. Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company, N.A., headquartered in New York, has administrative offices in Charlotte and Chicago. Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company of Delaware, N.A., is headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware. Through these national trust companies, BBH offers personal trust services throughout the United States. In addition, we offer offshore fiduciary services to non-U.S. clients through multiple offices, including Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company (Cayman) Limited, with offices in Grand Cayman. Together, the BBH Trust Companies oversee personal trust assets and engage in a full range of fiduciary services. These services include:

  • Review and analysis of estate plans
  • Trust administration, from simple living trusts to complicated tax-driven estate planning vehicles
  • Specialized retirement planning
  • Philanthropic planning
  • Charitable foundation services
  • Tax return preparation

What we look for in an intern:

-      Currently a junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2024

-      Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.3 or higher

-      Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities

-      Interest in investing coupled with an understanding of financial services and investment funds

-      Effective communication skills, written and verbal

-      Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically

-      Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem

-      Ability to prioritize competing demands

-      Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success

-      PC proficiency, specifically in MS Office
