Fall/Spring Remote Internship

***Registration for Fall/Spring Session Opens October 1st, 2023***

 

Who can register?

No specific major or experience is required. This is a generalist opportunity that exposes students to common functions within a technology company.

 

Responsibilities

During this experience, you have the opportunity to complete 2-week rotational assignments supporting up to six different departments:

  • Human Resources
  • Product Management
  • Engineering
  • Marketing
  • Operations
  • Customer Success

In each rotation, you will receive simulated weekly tasks to support that division's priority initiatives. You will receive instructional resources to help aid you in the completion of each task. You are given ample guidance, context, & support to get started, but just like any other internship you are responsible for conducting additional research, staying organized / meeting deadlines, and generally exceeding expectations.

This internship experience is a realistic, remote simulation that will allow you to gain meaningful, transferrable skills in preparation of entering the modern workforce.

 

Time Commitment & Timeline

A free, on-demand, 6- or 12-week virtual internship experience with real benefits, beginning the Monday after you register! Weekly time commitment is no more than 10-15 hours.

Learning Objectives

  1. After being provided instructional resources and guidance on data cleansing & merging, interns will apply data quality principals and be able to perform data normalization by modifying an Excel export of poorly formatted data to fit organizational standards.
  2. Interns will be able to analyze operational data with pivot tables and charts after being instructional resources and guidance and communicate that information to decision makers.
  3. By leveraging 3rd party vendor guides & documentation, interns will demonstrate the ability to design and develop web-based solutions for an intake form and website landing page.
  4. Interns will gain a familiarization with CRM and web analysis tools by working in the Salesforce and Google learning environments, and will earn digital badges and certificates in focus areas applicable to those product suites.
  5. With the instructional resources and guidance provided, interns will demonstrate an understanding of marketing strategy and be able to develop a campaign with all its actionable components.

 

Academic Credit

In certain cases, you may be able to receive credit from your university for participation in an unpaid internship. Enterprise Hall supports reasonable credit seeking efforts on a case-by-case basis. Contact your university to understand the requirements.
