Speech language Pathologist/Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant
Speech-language pathologists assess and treat people who have speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. They also treat clients who have problems swallowing.
Physical therapists evaluate and record a patient's progress. Physical therapists help injured or ill people improve movement and manage pain. They are often an important part of preventive care, rehabilitation, and treatment for patients with chronic conditions, illnesses, or injuries.
Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatment in accordance with the plan of care established by the physical therapist. Recommends changes in treatment plan to the supervising physical therapist based upon the patient’s condition and response to treatment. Maintains work area in a neat, orderly fashion. Directs therapy volunteers. Performs clerical responsibilities as required by the facility.
