2024 Summer Internship - Agency Services

Responsibilities
The intern selected for this role will join a highly skilled team of business analyst working with Agency Services.   Agency Services coordinates, administers/supports agent contracts, agent/agent team member licensing, agent compensation, incentives, awards, and promotions, as well as sales leader variable compensation/programs. The Business Analysts on this dynamic team collaborate with product lines, our Enterprise Technology division, and agency partners on projects and initiatives that impact how the company works with our agents and sales leaders, or compensates and incentivize them to drive results in alignment with enterprise goals. They also partner with market area and corporate agency executive leadership and facilitate conversations and connections across Agency/Marketing to ensure that holistic solutions are delivered.

The selected intern can expect to:

  • Provide expertise on assigned projects such as developing solutions to operational and process questions/issues related to workflows between agents and other associates, Agency/Sales departments, and external business partners
  • Assist in the development of training and support materials for associates, and Agency/Sales departments
  • Serve on a project team dedicated to business rules review to analyze and strategically think through process changes and/or improvements to existing procedures or business decisions


Qualifications

An Ideal Candidate:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital/Social Media, Branding or Adult Learning
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a virtual environment
  • Growth Mindset

Internship Information:

Eligibility: To be eligible for an internship, candidates must be in an undergraduate, or post-graduate program with a graduation date of August 2024 or later.

Location:  This position will be in a hybrid work environment located in Bloomington, IL

Competitive candidates will be invited to participate in a pre-screening video interview in the Fall of 2023

Dates of internship: May 20, 2024 – August 2, 2024

Hourly Rate: $28.00/hour based on a 38.75-hour work week

Selected interns will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend.
