Sr. Program Manager, Financial Systems and Reporting

This position will work closely with the Director of Corporate FP&A to understand critical business needs and how to best support within a financial planning system as well as develop systematic reporting that will provide visibility to monthly, quarterly, and YTD results.  In addition, this position will partner with IT to identify additional technology resources to address financial reporting and analysis needs.

Highlights of your role

  •  Oversee system administration, design, maintenance, and data loads in Prophix and communicate updates across downstream customers.
  •  Continuously evaluate system performance and functionality and develop & implement improvement opportunities to increase effectiveness.
  •  Develop, write, and maintain reports in Prophix.
  •  Oversee training and support for Prophix users.
  •  Partner with internal customers to identify desired results and work to implement business improvements through process change, technology, and training.
  •  Provide leadership and management oversight for employees using the planning systems as well as the vendor partners.
  •  Maintain and grow relationships with the various finance teams and IT data teams within the organization.
  •  Manage feedback mechanisms for end users to continuously improve customer service to our user community.
  •  Advocate for new technology, concepts, and approaches with the stakeholders to help drive innovation and technological advancement. Keep abreast of technology trends and future roadmap direction and advise Finance leadership on recommended changes in direction or strategy.
  •  Analyze system output/results, make recommendations for support process improvement, and direct the implementation of changes. Ensure continuing operational quality by prioritizing system bug fixes, testing, and releasing upgrades.
  •  Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders regarding the status of current issues, in-flight projects, and future requirements related to financial systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

You're a good fit if you have

  • 8+ years of technical work experience in developing and administering ERP or financial planning systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA in computer science, engineering, business administration, finance, or related field. 
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning, Hyperion Planning/Essbase, MicroStrategy, Prophix or other planning software is preferred.
