Business and Information Technology Teacher

Roanoke City Public Schools is seeking an experienced Business and Information Technology Teacher.

Applicants must hold - or be eligible for - a Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Business and Information Technology.

Applicants must be familiar with State approved Business related courses and information technology to include computer software applications (word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software) as they relate to Business. Additionally, the successful candidate will be familiar with input technologies to include touch keyboarding, speech recognition, handwriting recognition, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and other hand-held devices, touch screen or mouse, scanning, and other emerging input technologies. 

Preference will be given to bi-lingual (Spanish speaking) applicants.
