About Your Team

The IBKR Marketing team is looking for a Media Producer. The Media Producer will work within the media team and be responsible for producing video and audio content to support the company’s education and marketing outreach initiatives. Our growing group is responsible for trading education videos, webinars from top-tier financial organizations, financial news from third-party contributors and our in-house content providers, and weekly podcasts with industry heavyweights.

 

What Are Your Responsibilities Within IBKR: 

  • The Media Producer coordinates with team members on workflow, design, image prep and content management as needed.
  • The candidate must grasp technical, visual and financial concepts quickly and efficiently under specified time frames.

Video Production

  • Create educational and promotional videos applying branding standards across all courses and lessons.
  • Edit and prepare audio files.

 

Podcast Production

  • Schedule a busy monthly recording calendar for both internal and external guests.
  • Record multiple weekly podcast sessions.
  • Edit podcast audio.
  • Prepare and edit the transcript.
  • Maintain website and third-party podcast channels.
  • Promote podcast channel presence with social media outreach.

 

Graphic Design

  •  Select images and prepare graphics for both video and web use.

 

Which Skills Are Required:

 

  • Have experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other video production means.
  • Understand the equipment and techniques of video capture, including camera, lighting, microphone, and green screen.
  • Understand and prepare the audio equipment for podcast production.
  • Video design with an understanding of font, layout, color and branding.
  • Understand image file types, uses and compression.
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and terms.
  • Web development, HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress.
  • SEO best practices.
  • Microsoft Excel and table-based filtering.
