Overseas Missionary
QuadW Tarime is a young adult mission team, making disciples among the Kuria people of Northern Tanzania. Over the past two years, the Holy Spirit has used our team to bring 97 new disciples to follow Jesus and has helped us to start 18 new house churches for these new disciples. We believe in thorough, whole person discipleship, so we guide all new disciples to leave behind their old lives of alcoholism, witchcraft, domestic violence and FGM, and we teach them to enjoy following Jesus in action, living a new life of love. We are looking for American young adults who want to serve, and who are ready to make a one-year commitment to be a part of our mission team here in Tarime, Tanzania.
QuadW Tarime is specifically designed for young adults who are trying to figure out if they are called to overseas missions. During your year here, we will steadily pray with you and advise you as you discern God’s calling. We will lovingly nudge you out of your comfort zone, but we will not “throw you to the wolves”. You will be paired with a Tanzanian, English-speaking “mission buddy” who will be your guide into Tanzanian culture and ministry. You will also be given high-quality training on making disciples, and guided by more experienced team members as you explore the everyday work of a missionary and ask God if this is what He is calling you to.

- 18-25 years of age*
- A U.S. Citizen*
- Consistently trying to live like Jesus on a daily basis
- Passionate about humble, self-sacrificing service work
- In good physical shape
- Committed to serving with us for 12 months*
- Willing to pay for their plane ticket*
