Marketing Strategy Intern - Events

CL Corbin & Co. is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Strategy Intern to join our team and support our Event Operations team. As a Marketing Strategy Intern, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the Event Operations team to assist in implementing marketing strategies and tactics that promote our event planning and management services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event marketing while contributing to the success of our dynamic team.

Job duties & responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote our event planning and management services.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities for event marketing.
  • Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including email marketing, website, and other relevant platforms.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop marketing collateral, including graphics, videos, and written content.
  • Support the coordination and execution of promotional events, including trade shows, conferences, and client engagements.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, including engagement metrics, conversions, and ROI.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking to identify areas for improvement and differentiation in our event services.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team as needed.

Qualifications & education

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in event marketing and the event planning industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics, including email marketing and content creation.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The intern will have the opportunity to learn about event management, contribute to event planning and coordination, and gain exposure to various aspects of organizing weddings, social events, and corporate events under the guidance of experienced professionals. The primary emphasis of this internship is on learning and professional growth, with the intern receiving close supervision and mentorship to develop their skills in event services.
