Records Supervisor (Req ID 4260)

Job Overview


Responsible for management of the Center’s Information System (CIS), and student records administration in compliance with government, corporate, and management directives.


Responsibilities


Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities of the Center’s Information System.

Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, recommend and implement departmental and personnel changes as approved by the Finance & Administration Director and coordinated with the human resources manager prior to implementation.

Prepare the departmental budget, monitor, and control expenditures.

Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting CIS functions.

Participate in the Center’s outreach team in support of the regional efforts.

Direct student records administration including assignment, input and exiting process, including transfers and extensions of enrollment. Oversee management of automated systems and coordination of duties POC for data integrity/JCDC requirements.

Serve as center Data Integrity Officer. Provide oversight of the student records function to ensure accurate and timely reporting of all TAR, GED/HSD, student leaves and other documentation in compliance with Data Integrity policies and procedures. 

Verification of raw numbers and calculates weekly/monthly/yearly statistics that impact Center performance.

Serve as accountability officer to oversee accountability systems and ensure proper follow-up.

Maintain accountability of students and property; adhere to safety practices.

Cultivate and maintain a climate on Center, which is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn.

Manage the student’s input/exiting process in a manner that will maintain the student population at 100% of capacity or above at all times.

Review, report and process accident/injury reports for staff and student job related injuries. Identify unsafe practices and develop corrective measures to minimize risk and lost time accidents in accordance with corporate, government and Job Corps regulations.

Promote student attainment of career success standards through modeling appropriate skills, mentoring students, monitoring skill acquisition and intervening when inappropriate behavior is observed.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


Mandatory:

Associate Degree in business administration or related field from a college or university.

Two (2) years' related experience and/or training.

One (1) year supervisory experience.

Successfully pass any background check and/drug test required on the contract.
