We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund Accountant to join our Alternative Investment Services team. This role is located in Fort Worth, TX or Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Leads day-to-day accounting and net asset value (NAV) production functions (including NAV construction & validation, NAV review, dissemination and reporting activities) for funds.
- Reviews data and assists in resolving escalated problems that may arise during the normal daily, weekly or monthly accounting and reporting.
- Collaborates with client staff to exchange information with respect to cash, accounting, and reporting of daily and monthly client activities and initiatives.
- Assists in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve team efficiency.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (in Accounting or Finance) or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 5 years total experience in Financial Services field preferred, seeking experience in Private Equity or Hedge Fund servicing.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Systems proficiency in Advent Geneva and or FIS Investran.
