Midwest On-Site Sales Manager
You will be responsible for onsite merchandise for Perfect Game Midwest. The onsite merchandise manager oversees the staffing, planning, inventory, and setup logistics for all Perfect Game events in the Midwest. This position is a part of the National Onsite Merchandise team whose main goal is to ensure the PG Midwest merchandise team is operating at the highest potential.
This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and a salary range of $35-40K/year.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and provide merchandise setup plans for all complexes.
- Collect and review all data pertinent to inventory: sales history, specific market information, trends, etc.
- Reconcile sales on a week-week basis.
- Accurately report and maintain KPIs.
- Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy.
- Prepare work schedules and enforce compliance with company and industry labor requirements.
- Create daily staffing reports, monitor employee performance.
- Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling problems to human resources.
- Confirm staff details and working hours to ensure accurate employee compensation.
- Work well with all PG Staff.
- Continuously improve planning techniques, methods and approaches.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the apparel industry
- Experience with forecasting, planning and procurement
- Understanding of inventory management
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to manage complex situations and challenges
- Good communication skills
- Good project management skills
- The ability to exercise independent judgment & recognize the financial impact to the business
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Access, Power point, Word)
- Fluent in English
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United State
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or sports management
- Experience in the sports industry or merchandising preferred
- Experience in the sporting goods industry preferred
- Experience in sales preferred
- Manager Experience preferred
- Will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience
