North Florida On-Site Sales Manager / Gate Manager

You will be responsible for onsite merchandise and gate staffing for Perfect Game North Florida. The onsite merchandise manager oversees the staffing, planning, inventory, and setup logistics for all Perfect Game events in North Florida for both merchandise and gate. This position is a part of the North Florida Operations team where your main goal is to ensure these regions merchandise/gates teams are operating at the highest potential while also providing the best customer experience. North Florida is defined as Sanford, Auburndale, Newberry and occasionally West Palm Beach.

This is a full-time position with competitive benefits and a salary range of $35-40K/year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and provide merchandise setup plans for all complexes.
  • Collect and review all data pertinent to inventory: sales history, specific market information, trends, etc. during and post event.
  • Reconcile sales on a week-week basis for both merch and gate.
  • Accurately report and maintain KPIs.
  • Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy for merchandise and gate.
  • Prepare work schedules and enforce compliance with company and industry labor requirements for both merchandise and gate.
  • Create daily staffing reports, monitor employee performance.
  • Implement National Trainings for all part time staff in your region for both merch and gate.
  • Ensure all gates are covered for all events who take in person gate
  • Confirm staff details and working hours to ensure accurate employee compensation.
  • Work well with all PG Staff.
  • Continuously improve planning techniques, methods and approaches.
  • Work hand and hand with South Florida Onsite Manager to ensure all gate/merchandise needs are complete for West Palm/Jupiter Events.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 
  • Knowledge of the apparel industry
  • Experience with forecasting, planning and procurement
  • Understanding of inventory management
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to manage complex situations and challenges
  • Good communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • The ability to exercise independent judgment & recognize the financial impact to the business
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Access, Power point, Word)
  • Fluent in English


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field
  • Experience in the sports industry or merchandising preferred
  • Experience in the sporting goods industry preferred
  • Experience in sales preferred
  • Manager Experience preferred
  • Will accept any suitable combination of education, training and experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
