Creative Services Intern - Hybrid Remote in Rockville, MD

Description
What will you be engaged in day-to-day?
- Assisting the graphic design team in layout, design, illustration, photography, videography, and proofing of creative projects.
- Assisting with digital asset management.
- Working on creative projects, from editing graphics to troubleshooting bugs
- Reviewing project requirements and asking clarifying questions.
- Taking the initiative to solve problems.
- Learning new skills, ideas, and software.
- Participating in team meetings.
- Checking in with your supervisors to make sure you’re benefitting from your experience.
- Communicating status updates to team members.
- Creating documentation for your work.
- Developing a professional development plan to focus your career.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What qualifications will help you succeed?
- Pursuing a B.S./B.A. or M.S./M.A. in graphic design or related field of study.
- Comfortable working in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and AfterEffects.
- Passion for technology and cutting-edge industry trends.
- Multimedia or video editing skills a plus.
- Being a self-starter.
- Knowing when to ask for help.
- Ability to prioritize numerous projects, requests, and responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Documents.
