IT Intern

The IT intern will gain a comprehensive view of a corporate IT organization by rotating through each IT team. This person will gain knowledge and experience through hands-on learning and engagement. Primarily assigned to the IT Support Operations organization, they will work on a summer-long project that directly impacts the efficiency of user support, including knowledge base management and application catalog. 


WHAT YOU’LL DO

IT Support Operations: 
•Deliver technology support across all global Crocs & HEYDUDE teams including software and hardware administration
•Service Desk (Tier 1 Support)
•End-User Computing (Corporate/Distribution Center Tier 2 Support)
•Retail Systems Support (Store Tier 2 Support)
Infrastructure & Information Security 
•Understand and maintain network systems, data storage facilities, hardware, and software
•Experience a robust InfoSec team and the cruciality of their roles 
•Coordinate with all departments to maintain the IT system inventory, contracts, service agreements, and policies
Corporate Applications (Warehouse Logistics, ERP, HRIS, Integration)
•Exposure to multiple corporate ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle
•Observe how corporate applications/systems connect with each other
•Understand how IT plays a substantial role in the backend of supply chain
Project Management
•Plan and implement projects using traditional/waterfall and Agile project management methodologies 
•Keep business units, partners, and the CIO updated of ongoing projects via status reports
Analytics
•Improve dashboards for a variety of groups (Finance, Retail, Ecommerce, etc.)
•Data engineering activities with various technologies including Snowflake and PowerBI 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

•Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business Administration/Management
•Proficiency with Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
•Highly motivated self-starter 
•Prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Able to comfortably connect with executives at a high level and others at a more granular level
