Leadership Development Program Associate

About us:
We are the sales and marketing powerhouse behind the most recognized and loved brands. Our team of industry-leading companies and multiple-discipline experts drive results and provide innovative solutions for our clients and customers by connecting the dots across all consumer touchpoints. With over 95 years of experience, Acosta is proudly the proven resource for top retailers and CPG companies across the world.

About our rotational program:
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) at Acosta is one of the most extensive and well-rounded programs for college graduates to gain experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry. Over the course of 18 months, you’ll work through 3-5 core business areas, allowing you to experience all the different ways we support our clients. You will learn new functions, lead new teams, and further define how you want to pursue your career. All LDPs rotate through our main departments of Retail, Business Intelligence, Sales and/or Marketing, then you’ll spend your final rotation in the area that most excites you!

Here’s what you can look forward to:
·        A hands-on experience with our industry-leading teams and valued clients
·        A cohort of peers for you to experience the program with all with unique interests but similar passions
·        Guidance and support from your manager, your own LDP mentor, and your own Executive sponsor
·        Learning about real-life application of what you learned in school, and the ability to make your own impact
·        Understand what you like to do, what excites you, and where your strengths are, allowing you to build your career with focus
·        An opportunity to accelerate your career with knowledge you won’t gain through any other industry program

What you’ll learn:
·        Client Relationship Building: Providing high impact, strategic value to clients and customers, fulfilling objectives related to sales, productivity, and initiatives.
·        Retail Execution: Learning self-leadership and supervisory management in partnership with retail technology to execute in-store programs.
·        Business Intelligence and Data Analytics: Collecting and synthesizing data insights for clients and Acosta teams to drive bold results.
·        Marketing and Sales: Work cross-functionally with Strategy, Creative, and Client Service teams on client pitches, activations, and live events.
·        Anything else you’d like: This is your program so if you have interests in IT, Human Resources, Client Strategy or anything else, we’d love to help you gain that experience in your final rotation.

About you:
We don’t expect you to have a background in sales or any other specific field—we’re looking for smart people who enjoy solving interesting problems. Our best LDPs are:
·        Excited to engage with diverse topics from the worlds of Retail, Sales, Marketing, and Analytics.
·        Eager to ask questions, share ideas, and deepen their knowledge of our industry.
·        Natural leaders who build relationships with integrity, trust, and transparency.
·        Open-minded and innovative when it comes to the growth of our company, our clients, and, most importantly, ourselves.

Here’s what you need to know
·        Positions are in-person, hybrid, and/or remote
·        Cohort begins July 2023 and is 18 months long
·        Salary: 65K
·        Minimum college GPA: 3.25
