Job Duties:
**We are seeking to fill multiple positions in the DDS Norfolk District Office, Roanoke District Office, EST District Office and the Henrico/Richmond District Office. **

** Upon completion of a probationary period, opportunities for some telework are available.

**We are seeking to fill multiple positions in the DDS Fairfax District Office (starting salary $52,500); Norfolk District Office (starting salary $42,000), Roanoke District Office (starting salary $42,000) and the Henrico/Richmond District Office (starting salary $42,000). **

The Disability Determination Services Division of the Virginia Department for Aging & Rehabilitative Services provides accurate, timely, efficient and cost-effective evaluations of medical and vocational evidence related to claims filed by citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia for Supplemental Security Income, Social Security Disability Insurance, and Medicaid benefits under the Social Security Act.

Minimum Qualifications:
We are currently seeking applicants with experience in gathering, reviewing and analyzing large volumes of records, arriving at well supported written decisions or conclusions following established policies, procedures, or guidelines. After an onboarding training program, analysts maintain a caseload in a fast-paced office setting with quarterly and annual goals and are required to make on-going phone calls with claimants, attorneys, advocates, employers, medical providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has an undergraduate college degree or equivalent training and education (including but not limited to certifications from community college, technical/vocational school, military training [E-4+], etc.). The ideal candidate has experience analyzing and interpreting complex policies, procedures, and regulations. Successful candidates are also able to demonstrate their ability to effectively communicate critical information in writing, provide excellent customer service, and work professionally and efficiently with diverse clientele in a production driven work environment.
