Remote Digital Marketing (SEO and Content Creation) Internship – Event Planning Website (unpaid)
Are you a marketing or hospitality major in need of a flexible internship that allows you to be viewed as an accomplished professional before you even graduate? Easy Event Planning (EEP) has been offering highly compelling opportunities for students to learn in a supportive, virtual environment for nearly 20 years. We are a leading innovator in the event space. Our technology allows people to plan events in record time. We have the first social platform for event planning in the US and our growth has been explosive in the last year.
You would create great content, which is the mainstay of digital marketing and would utilize AI for some of this. You would also research and create image galleries for our first-of-its-kind marketplace. You would learn about onsite SEO (search engine optimization) and how to drive conversions - the true goal of digital marketing. This is a tremendous way for you to not only learn about content creation and the science behind search engine optimization, but to showcase creativity.
This is a highly competitive position. You must be a proactive go-getter to succeed in this type of flexible, remote environment. We’re looking for serious-minded students who are looking to learn, take initiative, and build their resume skills. You can work from home and create your own schedule. Most communication will take place via Skype video, audio, and text communication. This is currently an unpaid internship position.

Who is managing you as an intern?
Ms. Kilmer, our CEO, is mentoring this group and providing all instruction personally. Students are put on teams to facilitate better communication. She also meets with the team leaders every week and is available if any particular team needs more guidance. Any student can message her directly at any time.
How many hours do you require?
10 is really the minimum but there are projects available to keep you busy, no matter how many hours you want to work.
What hours can I work?
There is a lot of flexibility and you can work this around another internship or job.

What are the weekly requirements?
Students must record their hours and accomplishments each week and attend two short team meetings per week. You must be highly responsive on Skype.
