Job Summary:
The student leadership council is seeking a Business Account Manager to manage accounts receivable and
accounts payable, assist with budgeting, and provide regular financial reporting to program department
leads and the program director.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Track and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable for program donations.
● Assist with the establishment and maintenance of program budgets.
● Provide regular financial reporting to program department leads and the program director.
● Communicate with various companies and VA financial accounting personnel to facilitate
monetary drawdowns.
● Facilitate program meetings, documentation, and presentation assistance.
● Provide weekly status reports and program presentations to department leads and program director
on the program’s financial standing.
Required Skills/Abilities:
● Experience in bookkeeping and finance.
● Proficiency in Google suite and Microsoft Office applications.
● Strong time management and organizational skills.
● Ability to manage resource conflict.
● Reasonable financial and budgeting experience.
Education and Experience:
● Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
● At least one year of experience in bookkeeping, finance, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
● Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
