Finance & Operations Coordinator

Accounting & Budgeting
  • Perform bank reconciliations of all bank accounts
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations such as fixed assets
  • Manage the accounting receivable and cash deposit function, including preparing and sending invoices
  • Contribute to month-end close activities and preparations for annual audits
  • Assist with planning and budgeting
Internal and External Financial Reporting
  • Prepare school and departmental monthly and ad hoc financial reporting, including budget v. actual analysis and forecasting
  • Aid in the preparation of the quarterly reporting for Brooke Board Directors
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, quarterly financial reviews and reconciliations, and annual Fiscal Year and Calendar Year audits.
Operations
  • Administer and coordinate compliance activities related to the Nutrition and Transportation programs
  • Coordinate the Supplier Diversity Initiative under the guidance of the Finance Director
  • Coordinate Brooke’s procurement process under the guidance of the COO & Finance Director and support the school with purchasing, materials requirements planning, and supplier relationship management. 
  • Support the COO with preparing and maintaining compliance materials, including federal and state reports and network compliance documents and activities.
  • Assist the COO with developing and implementing systems and standard operating procedures in areas including emergency preparedness, facilities management, and general school operations.
Payroll
  • Send out bi-weekly payroll Reminders via email and calendar invites
  • Review ADP timesheets for accuracy   
  • Run payroll reports in preparation bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Collaborate with HRKnowledge regarding any bi-weekly payroll issues
Other
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Director and COO commensurate with the role procurement for specific operational accounts such as operating leases and capital requisitions.
Salaries for this role begin at $60k and are commensurate with experience.
