Murray Osorio is looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to join our team. Our Firm represents corporate clients throughout the country and throughout the world in a variety of employment-based immigration cases, as well as assist individual investors, researchers, and artists.
Senior Immigration Paralegals will work a variety of business/employment-based immigration cases, communicate with clients, managing our client database, completing applications, researching consular post specific requirements, assisting in drafting legal documents, and providing supervision with other Sr. paralegals and attorneys of our roster of contractor legal aids. A successful candidate will display the ability to work independently and as a cohesive unit. A Senior Paralegal must work efficiently and effectively, be a self-starter, meet deadlines, and possess a great attention to detail and organizational skills. Standout candidates excel at time-management and will also strive to be client services orientated.

Basic qualifications:
3-5 years of experience working in immigration law firm setting (a well-rounded experience with various employment-based visas, including E, L, H-1B and PERM)
High School Diploma/GED.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to handle volume of work independently and in teams.
Demonstrated detail-oriented ability with strong highly organizational and time-management skills.
Skilled multi-tasker and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent writing, verbal and written client communication, and proof-reading skills.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelors/Associate degree with paralegal studies (ABA approved)
Fluency in Japanese, reading, writing, speaking.
Experience using Docketwise, Salesforce, SharePoint, Zoom, and all Microsoft Office Suite apps.

Job Location:
The Senior Defensive Paralegal position is a hybrid position with 3 days in our Fairfax, VA location and the other 2 days remote. There is an opportunity to go fully remote after completing the initial 90 days of employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8.5-hour daily work shift with a 30-minute lunch break
Day shifts
Monday to Friday (typically)
