Paid Intern Global Workforce Communications

The Global Workforce Communication team is seeking a talented, energetic self-starter to join our team and help engage Church employees and service missionaries by providing professional internal communications. 

In this position you will report to the Global Workforce Communications Manager and will be expected to assist with a wide variety of communications activities. 
This is a paid internship which will begin on approximately May 1, 2023, and would extend for one year from the hire date. You must be currently enrolled in school or have graduated within the previous 12 months to qualify for an internship. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Global Workforce Communication Manager with creation of communication campaigns to the global Church workforce, including: 
  • Writing copy and sourcing images for email campaigns 
  • Writing intranet articles 
  • Managing content and schedules for digital signage 
  • Maintain the Human Resource Department intranet page 
  • Maintain a workforce communication calendar 
  • Create communications analytic reports 
  • Design digital and print assets 
  • Provide minor video editing, as needed 
  • Assist in other special projects, as assigned 


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, graphic design, or similar field in progress 
  • Highly organized approach and strong project management skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft applications 
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience 
  • Video editing experience (preferred)
