PAID INTERNSHIP - Assistant Collection Registrar [Artists Archives of the Western Reserve]

This summer’s intern will be working with our Collections Registrar, learning about the collection, diving deep into individual artists.
Intern Responsibilities:
- Spending time with the artists collection and becoming very familiar with them and their creative career.
- Intern will be organizing the artists ephemera, exhibition cards, bio’s, cv’s and photographs to capture their creative career.
- Once the items have been reviewed and organized, the intern will then scan or photograph items, using our state-of-the-art scanner. The organized documentation will be uploaded to our date base.
- This process then allows the information to be uploaded to our website for the public to see.
- This is an essential part of the history and collection of each individual artist.
Intern Requirements:
- Attention to detail.
- Research skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with computer, scanner, and camera.
- Knowledge in photoshop.
