Graphic Artist (Req 4222)

Job Overview


The Graphic Artists designs and creates graphics and covers for proposals and other technical documents, and marketing material.


Responsibilities


Essential Duties & Job Functions:

Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and selects style and size of type.

Confers with Capture Managers, Proposal Managers and /or Writers to discuss and determine content and layout design to discuss and determine layout design.

Creates designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.

Uses computer software to generate new images.

Reviews final layouts and suggest improvements, as needed.

Maintains archive of images, photos, or previous work products.

Prepares illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with the Proposal team and making necessary changes.

Draws and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using computer.

Performs additional duties as required.

 


Job Requirements


Mandatory:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Design or related field.

Minimum five years experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign with Adobe CC. SEO, social media.

Strong organization, proofing skills and general creative writing are necessary.

Must be a team player, very detail oriented, self-motivated, and have the ability to work well with others.

Must possess solid written and oral communication skills.

Works well under tight deadlines, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
