Mental Health Therapist

Lighthouse provides Outpatient Therapy (individual, family/couples and group), Intensive In-Home, Mental Health Skill-Building, Virtual Residential and Parent Coaching and Support.

LBHC is looking for Residents in Counseling and Supervisees in Social Work to provide therapy to children, adolescents and families. This position provides the opportunity to obtain comprehensive training and experience that will ensure that you meet all of the requirements to become an LPC/LCSW. Position includes providing therapy in the home, providing therapy in an outpatient setting and completing diagnostic assessments under the supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Provider. Extensive training and evidence-based resources are provided at the beginning and throughout your employment with Lighthouse. Lighthouse is committed to training supervisees and residents to become exceptional LPCs and LCSWs to promote positive change within the mental health community. This is a stable, salaried position that allows residents and supervisees to commit to doing their full 2-year residency.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Provide therapy to children, adolescents and families in their home with the opportunity to move into an outpatient setting
  • Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments
  • Attend staff meetings, clinical supervision and trainings as required
  • Care coordination that allows you to build your professional network
  • Create individualized service plans (ISPs) and implement the goals and objectives
  • Complete required clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with regulations set by governing bodies and maintain standards of care according to LBHC policies and procedures

Certifications/Requirements:
  • Residents in Counseling: Must have a Master's degree from a CACREP accredited program in Counseling with 500 internship hours or 1 year of experience.
  • Supervisees in Social Work: Must have a Master's degree in Social Work with 500 internship hours or 1 year of experience.

  • Compensation is competitive and based on experience. This is a SALARIED position!
