Murray Osorio is looking to hire a highly motivated Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (Japanese speaking) to join our team. While our Firm represents clients from throughout the world in a variety of immigration cases, we are expanding into the Asian market, especially focusing on serving Japanese corporate and individual clients.

This Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (Japanese speaking) role will work a variety of business/employment-based immigration cases, communicate with clients, manage our client database, provide interpretation support, complete applications, as well as assisting in drafting legal documents under the supervision of Senior Paralegals and Attorneys.

A successful candidate will be bilingual (fluent in English/Japanese), will display the ability to work independently, and as a cohesive unit. Ideal candidates must work effectively, be a self-starter, meet deadlines, and will possess a great attention to detail and organizational skills. Standout candidates will excel at time-management and will also strive to be client services orientated.

Must be fluent in Japanese, reading, writing, speaking. (Required)

Bachelors/Associate degree with paralegal studies (ABA approved).

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to handle volume of work independently and in teams.

Demonstrated detail-oriented ability with strong highly organizational and time-management skills.

Skilled multi-tasker and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal, written communication, and proof-reading skills.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

6-12 months of experience working in law firm setting (immigration experience preferred)

Experience using Docketwise, Salesforce, SharePoint, Zoom, and all Microsoft Office Suite apps.

This Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (Japanese speaking) position is an in-person position, 5 workdays a week in our Fairfax, VA offices. There is an opportunity to go hybrid (1-2 days remote) after completing sufficient period of training and employment.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Expected Schedule: 8.5-hour daily work shift which includes a lunch break.

Monday to Friday, Day shifts (typically)
