Do you have a passion for social media and influencer marketing? We are searching for an ambitious Intern who excels in all things internet and will help support our Campaign Manager efforts in a fast-moving environment.

You will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of influencer campaigns and get an in-depth understanding of the influencer marketing landscape.

Internship Details:
We’re looking for Undergraduate Juniors & Seniors and Graduate-level students who are interested in a remote internship this Summer. Best fits are those majoring in or have experience in the following areas: Marketing, PR, Advertising or Communications. You will report to a member of our Client Services team who manages various different influencer marketing campaigns.

  • Currently recruiting for Summer 2023 (May-August)
  • All IZEA internships are for-credit-only arrangements 
  • Students must receive academic credit for the internship, please confirm with your school that this is available
  • Must have working equipment such as a PC or a laptop with a stable internet connection to carry out the necessary tasks for this internship
  • NDA paperwork will need to be signed by students
  • Availability for at least 15-20 hours a week

IZEA Provides:
  • Relevant work assignments (individual and group) across IZEA departments, including Client Development and Client Services
  • Personnel and time to assist interns
  • An assessment of individual interns at the end of the program

As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will gain experience with:
  • Flexing your creative muscles and help to set up Campaign Briefs, Influencer Posting Instructions or Content Style Guides where applicable
  • Work within our proprietary platform, IZEAx, to create campaigns, send offers to Influencers, download submitted content and analytics from campaigns 
  • Research, vet and build comprehensive lists of Influencers for our client campaigns, and/or add in customization requests. 
  • Help to develop and pull campaign analysis for campaign Wrap Reports
  • Work hand-in-hand with Influencers directly on campaigns and updating media kits inside IZEAx

You will also learn about:
  • Emerging social platforms, social and marketing trends
  • Campaign management and strategy
  • How to think critically about bigger marketing objectives
  • The basics of influencer marketing -- from research to outreach tactics and tracking
  • Exposure to other cross-functional teams

Qualifications:
  • An individual with experience (0-2 years) and interest in Advertising and proficient with all major social networks
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Understand Data Driven Marketing
  • Experience in iWork and Google 
  • Motivated and focused while working independently due to the virtual nature of this internship

Additional Requirements:
  • Candidates must be available for an internship that will run from May 2023 - August 2023
  • Candidates must be comfortable working remotely
  • Candidates must be available for 15-20 hours per week
  • Candidates must receive academic credit for the internship
