About the Team:
- The Genomics Validation Team is responsible for the development and validation of new genomics assays and the evaluation of new technology platforms in preparation for clinical trial testing.
Internship Assignment Summary:
- Perform testing to evaluate assay or instrument performance characteristics
- Prepare proper documentation of test results and present findings of research at end of assignment
- Familiarize yourself with each of the different genomics platforms within the department and their relationship to clinical trial testing
- Engage with both validation/development and production teams to enhance understanding of the scope and scale of testing
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- Working towards bachelor’s degree in genomics or a related field
- Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
- Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
- Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
