Warehouse Associate- Industrial Seamstress- Gallatin, TN

About The Role

In this role, you will work in an energized, fast paced warehouse environment to alter, mend, modify and construct garments and other articles according to customers' specifications and needs. Our ideal candidate has the previous experience and skills to operate an industrial sewing machine and is comfortable operating a heat press to produce well-made products. You will also move merchandise according to established safety, production, and accuracy standards and employment guidelines. You will be Customer Curious as you maintain and verify documentation to facilitate the flow of merchandise through the Distribution Center to deliver outstanding product to our customers.

There will be a $3.00/hour differential pay when working within the seamstress function.


What You'll Do

  • Ensure consistency in the quality of your work while meeting performance metrics in assigned work areas while creating a positive customer experience
  • Collaborate with leaders/team members through constructive feedback to support process improvements and cost reductions
  • Works under direct supervision and follows standard operating procedures to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Perform audits on garments for quality assurance
  • Understand sewing and hemming production order information
  • Ability to work in other departments within the Customer Experience Center as assigned, while meeting performance metrics


Who You Are


  • Industrial sewing machine operation and heat press experience is preferred
  • Previous sewing experience is preferred in the following areas: blind hem, single stitch, surge and hemming
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
  • May be required to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 8 hours at a time and ability to stand for long periods of time and walk continuously
  • Associates may be required to move up to 35 lbs. (range may vary based on work assignment)
  • Customer orders will be submitted as custom sew-by-order, so associates may be required to support in other departments based on business need
