Police Officer
The Henderson Police Department announces the opening of applications for the position of Police Officer. Processing and testing of applicants will occur throughout the year on an ongoing basis.

Under general supervision, performs law enforcement duties related to detecting, preventing, and investigating crime and maintaining law and order; and performs related duties as required.
Pay range from $59,119 to $106,171.
TIERED STARTING PAY INCENTIVE FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Step 1 - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent - $27.59/hour ($57,387/year)
- Step 2 - Associate Degree or 60 completed credit hours from an accredited university or college OR four years military service (honorable) OR four years full-time, sworn Law Enforcement experience - $28.96/hour ($60,256/year)
- Step 3 - Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university or college - $30.41/hour ($63,248/year)
