Owned Marketing Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write copy for owned marketing channels and communications, including but not limited to push notifications, web, email, etc. 
  • Collaborate to make content and user experience updates across both web and mobile app. 
  • Help update reporting for owned marketing channels (email, web, app, etc.)
  • Manage mobile gaming programs while assisting with prize redemption. 
  • Manage, set up, and roll out of Ballpark App check-in offers. 
  • Assist with updating social media and owned marketing content calendar. 
  • Support marketing projects throughout the year - including owned media assets around TwinsFest, Spring Training, All-Star Voting, and other tent pole events. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Education: 
  • 1 - 3 years of marketing, social media, journalism, or similar experience (internship and college experience accepted). 

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Creative storyteller who is organized, task-focused, and a clear communicator. 
  • Proven writing experience with portfolio examples (headlines, subject lines, etc. is preferred but not required). 
  • Advanced experience working with a Content Calendar.
  • Entry level experience with Project Management. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). 
  • Able to work a majority of this position during core business hours (9 AM - 5 PM); no consistent game day duties are assigned to this role. 

This is a part-time position that will work an average of 30 hours per week.
