Kontoor Brands’ Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more. Summer Intern, Brand Finance – Undergraduate: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands 
Seeking a motivated Intern to join a team of problem solvers, addressing a wide range of business activities. In this role, you will work directly with current finance team members and cross functional business partners, creating valuable results in areas such as financial modeling, competitive benchmarking, strategic and productivity analysis, and process improvement. A great opportunity to be involved in projects from the beginning stages to execution.  
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead forecast accuracy tracking to enable better understanding of mix, revenue and margin projections 
  • Lead competitive benchmarking activities, providing better insight on price and margin expectations 
  • Assist with cash conversion cycle modeling, identifying action plans to improve cycle time 
  • Provide support with inventory analysis to enable clear productivity measures 
  • Help with report automation to drive efficiencies across the organization 
  • Partner with Credit and Treasury teams to identify and present additional opportunities for cash flow improvement 
Skills for Success: 

  • Basic understanding of Financial Statements, Data Analysis, and Modeling 
  • Technical Skills (i.e. MS Office, MS Power BI, SAP, etc.) 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks 
  • Strong communication skills 
Experience/Education: 

  • Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: 
  • Extended periods working on a computer

  • A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others  
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
