Talent Acquisition Intern

SupplyHouse.com, a fast-growing and innovative e-commerce company, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to work within our Human Resources Team virtually this summer! This individual will be exposed to the daily functions of our Talent Acquisition Team and will assist our candidates throughout the interview process. This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

This position may require travel to our NY office headquarters up to two times during the program for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

Location: Remote (Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington)
Length of Program: June – August
Salary: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST. However, there is some flexibility as per our Flex-Time Policy.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the recruitment process by:
  • Advertising and managing job postings on a variety of hiring platforms
  • Building a pipeline of prospective candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, or other outreach platforms within the Greenhouse CRM
  • Reviewing and evaluating resumes
  • Conducting phone interviews with potential candidates
  • Scheduling Zoom interviews for Talent Acquisition Specialists
  • Sending confirmation and rejection emails
  • Maintaining historical candidate data (KPI’s and statistics)
  • Keep up with recruitment trends including, but not limited to, researching job boards and job descriptions to assure they are accurate, examining job and salary insights, and conducting market analysis research
  • Handle sensitive and confidential documents as well as protect the security of this information
  • Manage one project that enhances the team’s effectiveness and contributes toward our yearly goals
  • Learn additional tasks and functions within the team
  • All other responsibilities as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Team Leads and/or Captain

Requirements:
  • Rising senior working toward a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with a knack for juggling multiple priorities and a strong attention to detail
  • The ability to stay focused while handling repetitive tasks
  • Pleasant and personable demeanor
  • Team player mentality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS365, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite
  • Prior recruitment experience (is a plus)
