Kontoor Brands’ Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more. Summer Intern, Financial Analyst – Global Supply Chain: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands! 
Join us to obtain a comprehensive understanding of Global Supply Chain Finance and our role as collaborative business partners! Learn how the work we do directly impacts our product margins by driving cost management across the Global Supply Chain organization in Manufacturing, Sourcing, Planning, Distribution, and Logistics. During your internship you will learn about the various day to day roles and responsibilities of the Global Supply Chain Finance team as well as budgeting, strategic planning, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and financial modeling. In addition, you will be responsible for 1-2 key projects which will provide you the opportunity to build your finance and leadership skills while collaborating with our cross-functional business partners. 
 
Key Responsibilities:   

  • Assist with monthly close tasks which include using Excel and SAP to drive cost management. 
  • Assist with updating and enhancing various reports and dashboards using Excel, AFO, and Power BI to drive improved business results. 
  • Assist with annual planning process which includes the development of spreadsheets, analytics, and presentations for Senior Leadership. 
  • Assist with annual strategic planning process which includes data gathering, analytics, and presentations for Senior Leadership. 
  • Assist with monthly forecasting tasks which includes developing an understanding of the Global Supply Chain environment and challenges. 
  • Complete ad hoc analytics to validate cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities throughout the global supply chain. 
  • Complete 1-2 key projects collaborating with our business partners to drive business results. 
Skills for Success: 
  • Finance, Business, or Accounting courses 
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
Experience/Education: 

  • Pursing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting 
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:  None

  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions  
  • Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement

  • A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others  
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
