Research Biological Scientist (GS-0401-12)

This new position (Direct Hire Announcement Number: 23-RES-11818034-DHA-CC) is open to all qualified US Citizens, and will have a duty station at the G.W. Andrews Forestry Sciences Laboratory of the Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Service, in beautiful Auburn, AL. This is a great opportunity to work in a rapidly developing research field, with a focus on ecosystem goods and services in longleaf pine-dominated communities across the southern US. Experience in longleaf pine systems is helpful but not required, as many different research directions await the researcher, with considerable flexibility in program direction within the previously mentioned broad framework.
